A new year always feels like a fresh start, and here at Animal Gifts online it’s very much a family affair. As a small, family-run business, January gives us a moment to pause, look ahead, and feel excited about what the year might bring.
I’m really pleased to be launching new wrapping paper designs by Amelia Florence this month. Designing new pieces and sharing them with you is one of my favourite parts of the job, and it feels like a lovely way to begin the year.
As always, Quail Ceramics has been as good as ever and continues to be a firm favourite with our customers. Their wonderfully characterful designs are a staple in the shop and always make us smile when new stock arrives. We’re also in the process of restocking Profiles garden ware, so keep an eye on the website if there’s something you’ve been waiting for.
Animal Gifts is run by me and my mum, Karen, and behind the scenes we’re often joined by our Siamese cat, Margot, who likes to supervise packing orders, sit on paperwork, and generally ensure everything is done properly (in her opinion). She takes her role very seriously.
As we head into the new year, Mum and I are feeling grateful and hopeful. We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all our loyal customers for supporting our small family business — every order truly means the world to us.
