November has arrived, bringing with it golden leaves, cosy evenings, and that little spark of excitement as we edge closer to Christmas. For us at Animal Gifts, it’s one of the busiest and most inspiring times of the year – full of creativity, new ideas, and plenty of preparations for the festive season.

One of the things we’ve been loving this month is our beautiful collection of Roy Kirkham china. With such a wide range of designs, there’s truly something for everyone – from elegant florals to animal-themed mugs and tableware. They make the kind of presents people cherish: practical enough to use every day, but also special enough to feel like a treat.

I also can’t resist talking about Quail. Their pieces are just brimming with personality, whether it’s a jug, vase, or one of their wonderfully quirky tableware designs. Each one brings a smile, and that’s exactly what makes them so perfect for Christmas gifting. They’re little treasures that add joy to any home.
Gift Wrap Joy
One of my own highlights this season has been seeing my Amelia Florence gift wrap really take off. Designing it has been such a rewarding journey, and as a wheelchair user and a neurodivergent creative, I pour a lot of myself into each design. To know that people are wrapping their thoughtful gifts in my paper means the world – it’s a reminder that creativity has the power to connect us in such simple, meaningful ways.
Inspiration from Mum
I couldn’t share this update without mentioning my mum, Karen Jane. She has an incredible artist’s eye and always manages to find inspiration in the everyday. Her creativity has influenced me more than I can say, and I love that we get to share this journey together. Working side by side, we bring different perspectives but the same passion for celebrating beauty and originality in our collections.
Looking Toward Christmas
November feels like a gentle pause before the sparkle of December. We’re soaking up the autumn colours while also busily preparing for the festive season.
